With mental health affecting over 21 million people, treatment is constantly evolving and finding effective ways to improve symptoms. Esketamine is one of these options. Derived from an anesthetic, ketamine has been approved by FDA since 2019, A Better Way Psychiatry is offering esketamine for treatment resistant depression. This may be an effective option for treatment-resistant.
Administered in the form of a nasal spray, esketamine is an out-patient therapy that requires you to have a ride home.
